    Good mornin’, and happy Friday all! Is everyone as tired as I am and looking forward to some more WINNING today! I can’t wait to see the new Trump Library in a few years. With all the lawsuit winnings, it will be a perfect library. A YUGE library, probably the best library ever. Since we’re busy, I brought out our combo coffee/breakfast maker again. Keep your head on a swivel and carpe’ your coffee! January will soon be over!

      I had forgotten that dillweed until I saw this clip on one of the Fox News shows last night. We have not been led by the best and brightest for a long time. Maybe the tide is changing.

      While he may have withdrawn his nomination, if he had not done so it’s fairly certain he would have been installed by the predominant Dem party regardless of his having no qualifications whatsoever. Which makes me think that those putting his name in the hopper actually are happy to nominate unqualified blacks and people of color and have them humiliate themselves before the world. Thus showing that the powers-that-be allow their party to remain the party of slavery, the Klan and segregation…and are racist to the core.

    Mornin’ all ya’all! Grey, damp and cool, going up into the 70’s again this afternoon.

    NO is in the last week before hosting the Super Bowl. Last cheap room (Motel 6 about 14 miles away from the arena) went for almost $1000 a night. Restaurants and their staff are gearing up.

    I plan to be home for the weekend.

    Afternoon All. In the mid-20’s heading for the mid-30’s with snow showers starting and going through the day. I think it is supposed to snow all weekend. They are forecasting a big winter storm coming. I got all my running around done in the last few days.

    One of the stops was the little laundromat here near me. It is so cute. It has a black and white tile floor and a cute little table and chairs. My washer/dryer evidently died in the move, or something. So, now I am on the hunt for a new one.

      Good afternoon, aus. It’s been raining here all day and at present is 34 degrees. Thus we’re headed into the cold on/off lousy snow/rain weather season.

      At least I’m through for a while with the skin cancer operations. More to come, though. Not to panic anyone, but I really urge everyone to make a skin cancer body check appointment with a dermatologist.

    There is a lot of discussion on social media – and reported in the NYT and WaPo – that the same DEI policies existed during the first Trump administration as in Biden’s. They fail to report, however, that said DEI policies were instituted during the Obama administration, NOT under Trump. Trump’s mistake in this regard was not shutting them down in 2016. Perhaps he was not aware of it at the time; I don’t know.

    Here’s a real shocker! Remember all the hullabaloo about Target abandoning their DIE cr*p? Don’t get too excited just yet. Not one person is losing their job including the head DIE’r. They’re just re-branding. She will now be the “Chief Community Impact and Equity Officer”. Wow!!

      I quit shopping at Target, even though it was one of my favorites to shop at, when they started allowing men into women’s dressing rooms to take pictures under the changing room walls. And, then, they started putting out all that nasty stuff for children. It seems like nasty pedophiles must run it now.

      There seem to be any number of ways to mete out justice without going through all the trouble of investigating, prosecuting and spending a gazillion dollars to send someone up the river. Not that I think President Trump won’t be using the courts to make some folks suffer the consequences of their evil ways.
