    The band behind Trump rally disco anthems YMCA and Macho Man confirmed Monday that it will be in Washington for this weekend’s festivities, set to perform on stage during Sunday’s campaign-style event as thousands of supporters bust out their best “Trump dance.”

    The Village People and the president-elect have had a bumpy relationship. Years ago, the band threatened to sue him for playing and dancing to YMCA at his rallies. Then its members put their pride on the shelf. Despite the legal risk, Trump continued blasting the tune on loudspeakers nationwide, giving the Village People invaluable exposure and free affiliation with America’s most powerful brand.

    Mornin’ all. Got up late, but got things to do. Still cold outside. But, nice and warm inside. Conditions are pretty good for driving. I might even make it up to the mailbox this morning. Or, maybe the afternoon. It is dangerous for an old person to go up to the end of the driveway when it is icy.

    I will be completely out of the old apartment in a few days.

    Good cusp of the day, all,

    It certainly is colorful and festive here today. Good way to warm the winter. Breakfast tacos look really good. Glad Tex’s coffee pot holds more than one cup. Thanks to you both, I’m not going to need lunch.

    Czarina’s pastrami sandwich will have to wait until dinner.
