This could be the Hail Mary the libs are thinking about. Of the shakiest legal legs, but that team is not known for their intellectual depth. Mornin’ kids! A peculiar shot from Louisiana after the weekend storms.

I chased storms in Louisiana yesterday and, in the early hours of this morning, ended up with one of my favorite sprite images of the year.
These red airglow rings were the best I have ever seen. For some reason, there was way more red airglow than green. And the rings moved across the sky like ripples in a pond away from the storm system
Lots more images to come but I couldn’t wait to edit this one.
I spent the whole night with the frog chorus, owls, and creatures crashing in the jungle around me. The Bayou at night is a magical place- full of life. This was from a plantation at the edge of the swamps.

What a great Irish tradition! We’ll have to leave everything open for days to get the bad juju out. Thank God we’ve got Trump planning all those ways for getting America back on track. It would be a very difficult 2025+forever if November 5th had gone the other way.
Remarkable, too, is that wonderful front door and beautiful hardwood floors. Love to see the rest of the home.

Afternoon All. Trying to move some stuff to the new place today. There are several inches of snow on the ground, but it appears it may not start snowing again for a while. That would be a big help.
Hope you all have a great day and a Happy New Year. I am already happy. Trump is/will be our President and I will have a new place to live that I can afford.

Reminder: You’ll Need Federal Government ‘Real ID’ if You Want to Fly in 2025

“It’s Dec. 31, and we’re all busy contemplating just what lies ahead in 2025. Some of the changes will be predictable. For instance, we will have a president who will know he’s president starting on Jan. 20.
“Some of the changes, however, aren’t as heavily advertised as others — and one of them might not be as welcome as you’d like, particularly if you don’t have a so-called “Real ID.”
“You’ve probably forgotten about the “Real ID.” Back in 2005 — four years after 9/11 — Congress passed an act requiring new federal standards for identification, both making the cards more secure and harder to obtain.
“Real ID requirements were supposed to go into effect on May 11, 2008. For perspective, that’s the day when the first movie in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, “Iron Man,” completed its first weekend at the box office in No. 1, and people born on that date will be graduating high school in the next year or two.
“And yet, Real ID still hasn’t been implemented due to the challenges inherent in switching over the system. That’ll change this coming May….”

I got mine several years ago in the form of an “enhanced” driver’s license. I had to prove citizenship, and it cost more, but that’s about all. We have been reminded here in our state for years now that this was coming.

My passport expired years ago and I don’t plan to travel anywhere again where one would be needed. In the spring I may get one just in case I win one of those billion dollar lotteries and feel the need to buy a Gulfstream G700.

You would need the new I.D. to visit Canada (which is why I got my enhanced driver’s license; Canada is about 10 miles from here). I know you have family there.
