No FEMA employee from top to bottom is without shelter tonight. Their compassion is nil and their sense of justice is atrophied if it ever existed in the first place.

Every single employee of that department needs to be reviewed, interviewed and if not up to the necessary standards then dismissed. Members of the Cajun Navy and Samaritan’s Purse should be encouraged and welcomed to apply for positions in the NEW FEMA.

Information on hypothermia deaths in North Carolina isn’t readily available. Indeed, the government website is woefully behind in the death count, listing it as 103 three weeks ago. Hypothermia deaths are included but not listed.

North Carolina has suffered almost half of the 225 reported death total in all states affected.

I’ve read that a family with a baby were put in a trailer, but the trailer was “repossessed” (that was the word used by the person sharing the story) and they were forced to spend the night in a tent. Their baby did not survive. I have not heard about this anyone outside of this one person telling it. Has anyone else heard this?
