Good mornin’, and Happy Sunday, y’all! We’ve got a lot of work ahead of us, so I went big today. This is a twin 6 gallon urn! You do have to bring your own Styrofoam cup and dry sugar cookies though. Keep your head on a swivel and Carpe your coffee. I think the shenanigans are about to begin.

He’s there with Dana White, Don Jr., Dan Bongino, Kid Rock, Joe Rogan, Mike Johnson, RFK Jr. and Elon. I’m sure there’s some I missed. I’ll bet the Secret Service is going crazy.

Stella, speaking of the Secret Service, did you see this on Saturday? If the story pans out, not only the agent but the persons responsible for hiring him should be thrown out on the street with no severance or pension.

I’ve already been putting a lot of thought into it. Making sure who’s bringing the deviled eggs.. how many pies will there be? Confirming no oyster dressing! You know, the important stuff!

I just hope they don’t go too nontraditional this year. And, for goodness sake, NO oyster dressing! Even the thought makes my stomach hurt. My favorite is cornbread dressing. But, I will just be happy to be there.

Never heard of oyster dressing in Miami, Tampa or Utah. Czar liked it and made it by a few recipes till he got the one he liked. I found it to be rather a wet mess.

Czar liked to cook a variety of foods and change the holiday menus around each time. Foods of many nations showed up on the table. We also invited friends, orphans we called them, to make a full table. One frequent attendee said he liked to come because the food was not beige, like at his parents’ house. That was the first time I noticed Thanksgiving foods are mostly shades of brown…

A spoonful of peanut butter is something I eat when I want a treat. Buttered toast (really good Italian or French bread) is another treat.

My DIL makes delicious fresh bread and has the best butter I have ever tasted. I, of course, love peanut butter and could eat it every day. And, baklava is so yummy.

Good day, Czarina! Yes to homemade bread, butter (in limited amounts as with peanut butter), wish I could still hike. Hiking and walking everywhere has been a life passion but, alas! Absolutely adore baklava and if offered, will partake a small piece and be happy others can enjoy it without limit….

I’ve been getting all kinds of emails from friends about how President Trump is on the wrong path, setting himself up for failure, nominating the wrong people, and informing me of accusations of sexual harassment, drug and/or alcohol problems and gosh knows what all against a goodly percentage of the nominees. I may have the patience to fully read them later, but right now it just sorta tees me off.
I did just email the senders the Clarice piece and hope they listen to a voice of reason.

This reality did not stop the propagation of the lie that Officer Brian Sicknick was murdered on January 6. Initially, it was claimed that Sicknick was beaten over the head with a fire extinguisher. This lie was then revised to him passing away from exposure to chemical irritants sprayed by rioters.

It’s those long counts again. Incumbent Republican Steele falls 31 votes behind Democrat Chen. in a race for 45th district seat in Orange County California.
Right Angle New Network is new to me, but the race is indeed very tight. Redistricting has completely reshaped the area demographics.

On Sunday afternoon Julie Hartman, Dennis’ podcast partner on The Dennis and Julie Show, provided an update on Dennis’ condition. She revealed that Dennis had surgery following his fall and that, “This is not a ‘he will be back next week’ situation. This is a long haul and a long recovery for Dennis.”
Hartman expressed deep gratitude for the millions of prayers that have been uttered on Prager’s behalf since Tuesday and the many messages of well-wishes she and Prager’s producer, Allen Estrin, have received and urged people to continue those prayers, saying, “Every day we have seen modest improvements.”

Remember the Iowa pollster who missed the mark just a tad……She’s hanging up her spurs. As she says it – “My integrity means a lot to me. To those who have questioned it, there are likely no words to dissuade.” She only missed the actual results by 16 percentage points. That’s just a tad outside the margin of error. Integrity is the least of your worries, ma’am.
