        Amen, Reflection! That’s one of those Bible verses you learned in Sunday School and never forget.

        I’m going to the doctor on Tuesday morning to see if my diaphragm has been injured by the awful coughing bouts I’ve been undergoing. Who knew that the diaphragm could become unworkable! Prayers are appreciated.

    Our Favorite Sunday Columnist has a few thoughts about the election on Sunday. I would say that her tone is general is optimistic, but she’s well aware that shenanigans will occur.

      Around here we get a lot of news about Atlanta, although I’m sure everyone else is seeing the notorious Fulton County crap show too. I think Atlanta ought to be made into one of those prison cities like that movie. I hate that city, it’s a huge, huge suck of Georgia land and resources that could be used for something better. Like a garbage dump or expended nuclear fuel facility.

    Ol’ Scranton Joey was at it again yesterday! While barnstorming PA for his VEEP, he let out another one-liner for the ages. It’s so cringeworthy I’ll let you hear it when you click on the piece. A whole bunch of folks think this is another effort to payback those who betrayed him. Don’t know, but it’s fun to watch this sh*t-show.

    afternoon all. it was in the 30’s this morn and has only gone up to 41* now.

    my son is upset about the dog situation here and so I am checking out rentals and found a few in the area I really want to be in. I told my son that it is a bad time of year to move, but he said, “don’t worry about it”. we will see.

    hope you have all voted or have plans to.

      Sorry I forgot the Calendar, but it has been a day. Today is my 75th birthday, and tomorrow I’m having total knee replacement on my right leg. Been focused on getting the house ready for brother and friends who will be assisting me for the next few weeks. You may now wish me well.

      Good evening, Czarina! Housewives, sandwiches and daylight saving time ending…interesting combo. Is anyone called a housewife anymore? If you want to be, fine; but it does seem a bit out of date. I wouldn’t want my husband (if I had one) to be called a househusband but I might like him to make me a sandwich on occasion.

      The “fall back in the fall” is the best of the two time changes since that extra hour of sleep is soooo nice.
