    Good mornin’, and Happy Tuesday, y’all! If you’re in FL and this hurricane is heading your way………get out! If not, pray for those still there. We are very busy right now with lots of requests like this so we need coffee and lots of it. Here’s a fancy one I found today. Carpe your coffee!

    Everyone on this site is pretty sharp. But if you have some friends who aren’t quite as observant as you are, make sure they understand that the port strike is not really over over. It’s just been postponed until after the election. Here are some points you can share with those friends. After you’ve had coffee.

    American Touch Tag Day – clearly a game for people much younger than I

    National Pierogi Day – I wish you a variety of fillings

    National Fluffernutter Day – there is certainly a contingent who love these. I prefer peanut butter and mashed banana.

    National Hero Day – anyone you think is a hero!

      Good mornin’, czarina! I’m with you on hanging up my “Tag” sweater, but I could definitely go for a pierogi or three. Lots of people I could put the Hero tag on. Most of them served this Country.

    Former Democratic Congressman Endorses Trump, Slams Biden’s Failures on Global Conflicts

    In a significant shift from his party, former Democratic Congressman Peter Deutsch, who served six terms in Florida’s 20th District, has publicly endorsed Donald Trump for president.

    Citing his growing concerns about the Biden administration’s foreign policy failures, Deutsch emphasized that global security is his top priority in the upcoming election. During a call organized by Trump’s campaign, Deutsch pointed to Biden and Harris’s handling of world conflicts, particularly their approach to the Hamas-Israel war and Iran, as reasons for his endorsement.

    Ultimately, he explained, the “driving force for me to make this decision is what I believe is the most important factor in being president, which is really world peace.”

    “And I think that Kamala Harris and the Harris-Biden administration in terms of what they have done and are doing,” he said, “make the world a dramatically less safe place.”

    Deutsch’s endorsement reflects growing dissatisfaction with Biden’s leadership, particularly on foreign policy, where some see Trump as the stronger, more decisive candidate. The endorsement also comes as a shock to most who have long followed Florida politics, like reporter Marc Caputo.
