On October 7, 2023, Hamas launched a massive terror onslaught against Israel, with over 3,000 terrorists crossing the border by land, air, and sea. The attack resulted in the loss of nearly 1,200 lives, most of whom were civilians, and the capture of 253 hostages.
The United Nations has omitted October 7 from its International Day of Remembrance and Tribute to the Victims of Terrorism, sparking controversy and criticism. However, various events and ceremonies have been organized around the world, including in New York City, to recognize the victims and their families.
In New York City, several events have been organized to recognize the October 7 terror attacks, including:
- A candlelight vigil and prayers at Times Square
- A community-wide commemoration at Temple Emanu-El
- A panel discussion on resilience, unity, and strength hosted by Batsheva Women
We honor the memories of the victims and their families, and pay tribute to the bravery and strength of the Israeli people in the face of adversity.

Good mornin’, and Happy Monday kids. It is a rather somber day today. It’s hard to believe that it was a year ago that unspeakable horror occurred in Israel. Today’s model looks like it might fit right in at state operated facility where they like to keep track of their folks, IYKWIM. Carpe your coffee!

What if……..their actions are part of a plan to get people out of that area…..permanently. Reading some articles that harken all the way back to Hawaii and their desire to rid the area of humans. Some may say tinfoil. I say it’s in the realm of possibilities. We shall see.

Oh, I know – the head of FEMA is now calling Trump a liar, that they’re there and it’s not all that bad and Mayor Pete says HE’s the one that called Musk. Not to mention all the Trump voters now stripped of their voting abilities… and the fact that probably thousands of bodies will turn up for years…

can somebody tell me who they get to type the closed captions? just read what the weather girl was supposed to have said. “can you handle a sturgeon of 10 to 12 feet.” they actually typed in “sturgeon” instead of “storm surge” several times other than that.

I think it’s A.I. Think of everything we have to look forward to.
I remember when they first had voice recognition systems in place of humans on telephone systems. I made a call to my bank and spoke my account number. The ‘system’ repeated to me what it thought I said, but it wasn’t what I said. I gave up after three or four attempts.

About half the time ours types āeye three tenā instead of I-310. Youād think they could give the computer a list of odd spellings, local towns and roads.

I made spare ribs tonight cooked with the last of my homemade sauerkraut. Really delicious. I’m certainly going to make more sauerkraut to keep in the refrigerator. It was a success.
