Good morning everyone. I hope you are well, and aus, prayers, and hope your soreness and pain is receding. Broken and bruised bones hurt!
My youngest grandson is just recovering from walking pneumonia. He was quite sick for several days, but seems to be bouncing back. Apparently a really nasty respiratory bug is making the rounds.
We have an unexpected day off, so we are heading out to a Mennonite market in Alabama, and lunch and maybe browsing in nearby Mentone, a touristy town with some good restaurants, supposedly.
Out of the house is good! Have a great day everyone.

Good mornin’, Menage! Sorry to hear about the little guy battling what is normally a grown-up issue. When I was a young’un, we lived around a good-sized population of Mennonites, and they were known around there for their carpenter skills. We were not far from a number of Amish encampments that are well known for their crafts and furniture much more than back then.

Sounds good. Mentone was where Czar’s friend from the Vietnam War was from, and after they got stationed in Nashville they frequently went to visit his parents. Czar and I went there one weekend for June Jam, the event the musical group Alabama put on every year to publicize and raise money for the town. The Alabama Fan club is here, and his friend’s wife worked there for decades.

Has anybody checked to see if both Comma-La’s parents were U.S. citizens at the time of her birth. Is she even natural born? Her allegiance certainly isn’t to the United States of America or the Constitution.

Yes, it’s a concern of bygone days that Obama got away with not being natural born and that’s the precedent. I do believe he was born in Hawaii, though.
Likely someone in the not-too-distant future will be elected without either parent being citizens.
