Heartbreaking! Prayers this Thursday for all those affected by Hurricane Francine….
EMERGENCY: Water Rescues Underway Across New Orleans, 250K+ Without Power

A flood emergency has been declared tonight in New Orleans and the River Parishes region. Hurricane Francine is expected to dump nearly a foot of rain in the Big Easy. There are reports that the city’s pumping system cannot keep up with the rainfall. In some places the water is already six to seven feet deep. There are a number of water rescues under way. Video, which you can watch below, shows a Good Samaritan rescuing a stranded motorist from the flood waters. More than 200,000 customers are without power.

Good morning, Wee! Praying that the water recedes. Maybe when President Trump is inaugurated he’ll find the federal money to assist in the updating of the New Orleans pumping system once we return as many illegals as possible from NO to their countries of origin.

Good mornin’, Miss Wee! One of the amazing things to me about these nutter’s is that they just keep using the same hymnals every time. They get so lazy knowing that the stenographer class will cover for them that they don’t even try to hide it eventually. Coffee’s ready whenever you are.

Heavy rains due her noonish. But so far they only predict wind gusts of up 25mph, and low risk for tornadoes, so that’s not too bad. Probably going to get lots of rain through Sunday, but we need it.

Over 5” rain in total. Generator came on when power went out about 1:30, and is still running. Water pump and septic are working, and driveway is clear. The storm turned due north in the middle of Lake Ponchartrain, so we got less wind and rain than we might have. Now grey and breezy, 72*.

Reckon how many Americans simply don’t have enough common sense to figure basic stuff like that out? And also, when police don’t arrest people for crimes, and prosecutors don’t charge people, guess what that does to the numbers?
And if those people we won’t arrest and prosecute happen to be a significant percentage of illegal aliens, why then, how peaceful and maligned they look.
Many years ago my husband stated, “Paper will lay there and let you do anything to it.” So will numbers. Just pick the one you like. Many people not only won’t see that things don’t add up, they actively refrain from investigating anything making them think about numbers and math.
It is most decidedly not okay to allow a kid to say and think they aren’t good at math. If you can play those video games, learn all the levels and tricks and ins and outs, you can and will learn math.
We need thinking, intelligent citizenry. For their own sake, and duty to society and country.

Mornin’ All. It started raining here last night. It is 55* and very chilly which seems so weird since sometimes 55* doesn’t really seem chilly at all. Whatever. We are supposed to get rain maybe through the weekend. I might point out that this has nothing to do with the hurricane in case you don’t know I am in Montana. Ha!
