    Yesterday I posted an article about President Trump supporting the SAVE Act. I also sent it out to numerous friends. Around 10:00 PM I received the following article from one of those friends indicating that the SAVE Act isn’t exactly as is being touted. As writer Kelleigh Nelson indicates, it’s a much more complicated issue that we might suppose.

    God knows the beginning from the end and truth from falsehood. So let’s pray that He prevents America from passing any law which would harm us.

    National Another Look Unlimited Day – for garage sales and second hand stores

    National Welsh Rarebit Day – In the eighteenth century, Welsh Rarebit was served as a delicious supper. Taverns served it with ale. While fondue might come to mind, Welsh Rarebit more commonly uses wheat bread and cheddar cheese. A typical European fondue would start with Swiss cheeses. As with any dish, there are variations of Welsh Rarebit. Some of the recipes call for cayenne pepper, mustard, Worcestershire, or paprika. 

    Top the cheese with a poached egg, and the dish becomes a Golden Buck. Add bacon, and some call the meal a Yorkshire Buck.

      Good morning, czarina! Two oldies, but goodies.

      I made Welsh Rarebit a few times when I was first married. Another oldie I made was S.O.S.; I’m sure you know what that is!

      I used to really like bowling, and even took it as one of my P.E. classes in college.

      I have heard of Welsh rarebit and never knew what it was. Of course, at first I thought it was rabbit. LOL

      I will do my bit by getting some things ready for Goodwill.

      I made Welsh Rarebit when I was first married too. I have no idea why, and I didn’t like it then, but I know I’d love it today.

      Good day, Czarina! YES to second hand stores. One of my favorite pastimes no matter what city I visit….

      Over the years, I’ve held garage sales both for myself and family plus various organizations. Now everything just gets donated to my favorite charity, the local animal shelter thrift shop.

      I’m always happy to cheer on bowling teams but don’t bowl myself. As for Welsh rarebit, haven’t tried it. Probably on the no-go list for me anyway.

    These police-chase videos where the troopers get to use the PIT maneuvers have become a fun pastime.

    Really dislike, though, the vids of drunk and just plain low-IQ folk who come barreling out of their cars swearing and acting like they have special privileges to be stupid, and the super whiny females acting like victims when they are caught shoplifting.
