You know, I used to think that it would be better if women could rule the world. That was a long, long time ago. I know of a few women in history who may have done a good job, but what we are watching now is a total disaster. It isn’t that women aren’t smart. I am not sure what it is unless it is emotional. And, these effeminate men are even worse.

The answer to that question is a hard one, but this is what I think: Women, in general, are soft-hearted and have a strong desire to help the helpless and needy. HOWEVER, most people, in general, reach for the easy solution, without regard for the pitfalls to the easy solution. The combination of the two things is deadly.

I also think that it is emotional. The rational among us realize that hurting someone’s feelings isn’t nearly as important as telling the truth and standing up for what is right.

I am listening to Dennis Prager’s weekly talk and, among other topics, he is asked about his views on same-sex marriage. He believes that redefining marriage was the wrong thing to do. Marriage is a union of a man and a woman. Period. That is telling the truth, although it might hurt somebody’s feelings.

Dennis also believes that same sex couples should have the same rights, but that their legal union should not be called “marriage”, because it isn’t. He, like I do, believes that homosexuality is not normal behavior, and refuses to treat it as normal. On the other hand, he believes that adult humans should have the right to carry on their lives.
