Good mornin’, and Happy H*mp Day! Looks like some early risers have set the bar quite high this morning. This one’s a little different. I call it the in-law coffee pot as it’s a two-holer but you don’t have to look at or get close to anyone on the other side. Speaking of in-laws, I guess both of the O’bama’s spoke last night? True story. My husband has a ginormous yeti cup. And he answered one cup a day to the doctor. Apparently with a clear conscience too. I’ve not been able to get him to correct it.

You don’t want a Brazilian Wax, trust me.
Spumoni is three molded layers of flavored gelato create a unique dessert. The creamy creation often includes candied fruits and nuts in two layers and with a third chocolate layer.
According to a Chicago Tribune article from July 4, 1979, a “genuine spumoni” recipe was brought to the United States from Nola, Italy in 1905. Salvatore Lezza started a bakery in Chicago along with his wife, Lucia. Their traditional recipe called for three layers of semifreddo – an almond layer, semisweet chocolate, and stracciatella. Stracciatella is a type of gelato with irregular bits of chocolate in it.
Rocky Road is chocolate ice cream with nuts and marshmallows in it.

Mornin’ All. Woke up to overcast and rain this morning. We took a short walk and came right back, so we will have to take another one when the rain stops.
They keep showing Obama and wife on the news. They have always made me feel sick to my stomach. At least it is all recorded so I can fast forward past them. Somebody said on an interview that in a few months we should know what Kamala’s platform is. LOL

There’s a big mulch fire in a storage yard in Detroit that has been burning for more than 18 hours. Did you know that mulch can burn? I know that dry peat will burn, but it didn’t occur to me that mulch would.

We also have a doctor arrested for secretly filming people changing, bathing etc., and having sex with unconscious patients. He’s arrested with a 2 million dollar bond. Apparently there are thousands of videos that the police are now sorting through. He is originally from India and interned here. His wife turned him in, apparently.

Walz is a big fat liar.
On Tuesday, Axios published a few examples of Walz misleading reporters — promising a report would be released when it was never even written, claiming that Minnesota’s pandemic school closures were less extensive than they actually were, and others. None of these examples, big and small, would likely be a huge problem for Walz. But put together, they might add up to something more. “Walz dissembling approaching critical mass — seems only a bit less than what got Al Gore the reputation as a congenital fibber,” journalist Mickey Kaus wrote. “Turns out there’s more than just the military/IVF/DUI stuff.”
It does seem clear that there should be more fact-checking of Walz’s statements. For example, even with all the attention paid to the National Guard matter, there is a lot we don’t know. And now that Walz is a candidate for vice president, there could be other honesty concerns that arise through normal journalistic scrutiny of his record.
