Donald Trump appeared to be shot in the ear as gunshots were fired at the former president at a rally in Pennsylvania.
Trump grabbed at the side of his face and blood spattered across his cheek as several popping sounds were heard, sending supporters running for safety.
The former president quickly pumped a fist at the crowd to show he was not severely injured, as Secret Service agents raced to the stage to hurry him away.
Trump’s campaign said he was taken to hospital following the incident, but said he is ‘fine.’

NewsMax is reporting that the shooter was killed by the Secret Service, and that others were shot and one may have been killed.

New York Post reports: “Early reports suggest that a sniper on a roof of a building outside the rally took aim at Trump, according to law enforcement sources, witnesses and video posted to social media.”

I didn’t realize there was a new thread for this. I have been counting on the general discussion.
I saw the cut away from the evening news, noted when he patted his head when it hurt as the bullet passed within an inch of his brain, ducked, and I and noted the talking heads did no analysis of the visuals at the scene. Finally they saw the blood. I am worried the official word is the shooter is dead and cannot be questioned

Shooter was about 150 yards from Trump on a rooftop with a direct line of sight to the stage. It defies every security protocol ever written that this rooftop was not secured, and law enforcement personnel were not standing up there.
