    National Freezer Pop Day – got some in the bottom of my freezer for when GGS was little

    National Raspberry Day – ok but strawberries are better

    National Chocolate with Almonds Day – good idea, but I love any chocolate with nuts.

    How coo is this? Ammo vending machines in OK and AL. My only concern is that some of O’bama’s chirren don’t decide they want it for free.

    Mornin’ All. Another beautiful sunny day here in the great North. The thermometer said it was 65* on my patio, but out in the sun, it feels like about 90*. In Florida, when the temps got to 65* people started complaining about how they were going to freeze to death and I was trying to decide which coat to wear.

    Hopefully today I can get some odd jobs done. I have let some I started just sit there. So, that is my plan.

    Hope everyone stays safe and dry.

    All is good in the hood. There were unfortunately 3 deaths, I believe due to trees falling onto homes. At noon, only 8 morons had to be rescued for driving through high water. I lost power for about an hour. Last count there were over 2M in the greater HOU area who have lost power for an extended period of time. Not near as bad as previous incidents.
