      Hahahahahahahahahaha! Love it! Mirrors my sentiments on ever-more-frequent occasions.

      As long as it’s Sunday, here’s an article entitled…”God Wants You to Complain.” In that, I’m a sister to King David who wrote this Psalm.

      Psalm 142:1–2,

      With my voice I cry out to the Lord; with my voice I plead for mercy to the Lord.
      I pour out my complaint before him; I tell my trouble before him.”

      To live in this age is to frequently experience trouble. We are troubled within and we are troubled without. Our troubles span the spectrum of trivial to traumatic. And these various kinds of troubles — James calls them trials (James 1:2) — are to be expected. We are not to be surprised by them (1 Peter 4:12).

      Good afternoon, Czarina! On a lovely evening, I’ll don a comfortable dress and in my casual bag bring along a shawl to keep the cool breezes at bay…while watching a meteor shower…then put it all on social media (if I had such an account)….

    Our Favorite Sunday Columnist has some thoughts on the aftershocks from the debate the other night. She does not appear to be tearing up for Brain-Freeze Brandon, however. It seems to be more of a gleeful chuckle!

    Afternoon All. Didn’t go to church this morning. I woke up with both hips hurting and a headache. I had water delivered yesterday and had to bring in about 8 gal jugs. I knew there would be consequences, but it had to be done. I used a patch to stop the pain. So I am better now.

    It is raining lightly and has been since early this morning. I could hear it hitting the bedroom window. I think it is supposed to be like this all day. And, it is overcast. Well, we don’t have too many of these days.

    Glad you are back, Stella. We missed you but tried to carry on. Hope everyone stays well.

      Good day, aus! We’re overcast, too. All I want to do is stay cozy in the apartment and watch live-camera feeds of beautiful, exotic locales. Little Gee was fed earlier but now he’s crying in his best manipulative manner because his dry food needs to be set out.

      Motivation is nil to get anything done. My nephew is coming to visit on July 4th and the guest room needs dusting (along with the rest of the apartment). I’m also trying to get items boxed up to send back with him.

    Stella’s choice of cat photos made me think that the cat had just been discovered with a canary’s feather in its mouth.

    But Czarina assures that it’s simply trying to beguile us. Both of Lucille’s cats look as if they succeeded.
