Good mornin’, and Happy Friday, y’all! We’ve made it to the end of another week with the maroons still in office. At least we haven’t choked or bitten anyone. This is a rather unique model. It says Paris, and was supposedly made back in the 30’s, but it may have come from the doctor’s office. I’m not sure. Carpe your diem!

Garland’s brownshirts are continuing their campaign of fear and intimidation. People are noticing and making sure others know. This is a nurse at the hospital recently exposed in HOU for continuing to disfigure children.

And corporations seem to be following suit…

What a sad state of affairs at this once great company. What happens when you’re the only game in town, so to speak. Run by bean-counters and not the fly guys and engineers who made it what it was. Much like the rest of “industry” in this country. Sort of like an oligarchy.

It’s a problem in all corporations. Try managing a Home Depot lumber department. The bean counters assign employees based on some no relation to reality formula. They say lumber department doesn’t need more than one person on the floor at a time because customers load their own lumber.

Right, they just hop on that forklift and carry that bundle of lumber out. Calculate how long their step stringers should be, and how many decking boards they need.

One person to wait on customers, answer phone calls, unload trucks.

And here’s where I’m really going. Lumber department is mostly worked on a forklift, and safety rules require the working aisle to be blocked off, as well as the next aisle beside the rack you’re working on, then you need a spotter in both aisles.

And no common sense in the world will budge those never even been in a store geeks off their computer formulas and into real life. Meantime, on the other end of the air conditioned offices, not too far from the perpetual coffee, drinks, and plush break rooms, you have your customer service geeks who withhold raises and will fire you all for poor customer service.

I have gone into Waffle Houses and sat, depressed, realizing that they have more people working in their tiny restaurant than I left on the floor to wait on all the customers at the huge warehouse I’d just walked out of.

One of my most epic battles with those geeks and my manager and district manager lasted three weeks. We started receiving freight at night. They cut the AC off. When I called the department that programmed the controls, they refused to turn it on because we had no customers there at night.

Store manager and DM drug their feet in supporting me and I threatened to escalate. One guy went to the hospital with heat exhaustion.

I have come to believe that unless it’s a mom and pop business, those are the conditions you work under.

Corporations exist only to suck money up for executives and investors. The End.

I think I might go to L.A. and tell them I’m “unhoused”……….$600k per unit. Those must be some sweet apartments!

travel day, Portland to La*Guardia to Dallas to Gulfport. I’m tired of vacation and just want to be in my own house, car and yard, with my own dogs. Travel days are exhausting.

Afternoon All. The thermometer said it is 61* out. I am starting to question my thermometer’s accuracy. It is partly cloudy and a lot of hot sun. I had a sweatshirt on and had to remove it. But a nice day for a walk.

Hope your weather let up a little bit and you can enjoy the day.

This article about Fow-Chee will curdle your milk. It’s a bit of a lengthy read, but you will not believe who really got behind this POS and gave him pretty much free rein to do all the damage he’s done. Hint…..his daughter got her *ss kicked last election cycle in WY.
