    Good mornin’, and happy Monday, kids! We’re gonna need plenty of coffee this week, I’m pretty sure and one of the easiest ways is with the old school Mr. Coffee. Here’s one where you can match it up with your wallpaper apparently! Coffee up, y’all!

    Greenie-weenie stoopidity continues on unabated. This latest gem is from India. Apparently, they have (had) a floating solar farm that was destroyed by a recent 50 kilometer/hour storm. That is a wind speed of 31 mph. In my experience, that’s quite tame for much of our part of the world during storm season like they’re having in the middle of the country right now, or anywhere on the Gulf coast during hurricane season. You can’t make it up!

    National Crouton Day – I feel this food is often overlooked. I really like them.

    National Women’s Check-up Day

    National Fruit Cocktail Day – better since they created tropical fruit cocktail

    National Apple Pie Day – good food

    National Frog Jumping Day – my DIL has a morbid fear of frogs. Jumping is unacceptable

    Afternoon All. It is 45* here but very comfortable with no wind. I only wore a sweatshirt and got a little too warm. Last week on a 45* day I got cold. The sun is going in and out of the clouds. It was totally sunny and hot yesterday. One granddaughter got sunburned on her back while they were playing in the sprinklers. It was a beautiful day and they really enjoyed it.

    Hope you all had a nice Mother’s Day. My son and his daughters made dinner, waffles and bacon for his wife and me. Everything was really good.
