America’s musical history is diverse and the Internet allows easier searches for obscure musicians who never quite made it nationally but were popular in their own cities and states.
My father was a fine saxophonist who played in the Southern California area. I wish I’d written down the names of the orchestras he was in. He gave it up professionally when he chose family over career but continued to play for parties and in his church orchestra through the 1930s.

Good mornin’, Miss Wee! We all know that it’s coming. I don’t think that it will come in the form of a single event this time. Too predictable, but I shudder to think what they will pair it with. I just hope our side is actually preparing for such a happening. I’m not optimistic.

Yes, on the mint in chocolate, although I used to love thin mint cookies in my younger years. Also, how do all those young black and Latina women open their eyes with inch long lashes? I kinda always want to ask them.

I loved the thin mints from the GS. And, I really like those choc/mints that they give you at the Olive Garden, which I might add, does not exist here. :(

Yes to George and Abe; chocolate mints; don’t know what vet girls are rising for; and have never worn false eyelashes but perhaps the national day celebrates actual human lashes.

That sounds like perfect weather to me! :) It is around 30* right now and we have another fresh inch of snow. However, the sky is clear and blue and you can actually feel the warmth of the sun when you are out in it.

Good day, Texan. We used to get both February 12th and 22nd off. The 1950’s was a great decade. Each year has its own set of problems, but I prefer them to what’s going on today.

We all know the judge in this case already made up his mind before the trial began that Trump and sons are guilty of his made-up fraud charge. He’s punishing them for not pleading guilty to begin with. He deserves to be disbarred.

Comparing Donald Trump to a bank robber? Whom, did he specifically rob? Two entities signed a contract with agreed upon conditions, and those conditions were met.
Trump must be punished as a sinner? Mortal versus venial? Really? There is a far better judge for those matters.
What about citing the legal precedent for those statements, and the authority to preside over them as a judge?
