Another late night, but y’all can git after it early! Coffee’s up and I’m pretty sure we will have something come out of the Swamp today that will once again cause us to shake our heads. The question is which nimrod will it be? Plenty to choose from.
    Coffee up, y’all.

This couple is not your ordinary pair of election sleuths. Ken has been an MSSQL Data Analyst, DBA and Architect for 28 years, working with Fortune 500 companies, and Jodie has been working with ‘People Data’ and Analytics since the mid 90’s in large enterprise environments. I used to hate February more, but when I grew up, I appreciated that it’s shorter. And also, we usually have warm weather and flowers at the end of February.

Morning Wee. I sure am dreading the bitter cold coming this week.

God just isn’t playing fair. If I wanted to live in Canada, I’d live in Canada.

Frost everywhere. Sun will be out in a minute and it will get to the low 60’s today before turning bitterly cold for the rest of the week.

Drained the spa. Today I have to use the wet-dry vac to suck out all the water in the pipes, because mid-teens will freeze the water in the pipes and break them. Didn’t anticipate this, because, if anything, the spa usually ran too hot, but something went wrong in November. Can’t find any repair people to come into rural Mississippi.

    National Hot Pastrami Sandwich Day

    National Sunday Supper Day

National Dress up Your Pet Day – I’m thinking something warm would be appreciated

Maybe I’ll dress them up, put out hot pastrami sandwiches and seat the at the table for Sunday Dinner. But first, it will say something patriotic. I’m sure they will put up with a lot for sandwiches!

      Good day to you, Czarina!

Inviting your favorite doggie in his best warm outfit to a Sunday supper of hot pastrami sandwiches is a good way to commemorate the Treaty of Paris.

Our Favorite Sunday Columnist takes on Teh Won this morning. While he did not start all this sh*t, he is pretty much responsible for saying out loud that he wanted to lead the “Fundamental Transformation” of this Country. And he did, and because of him, that’s why we’ve got the mess we have. He laid out the framework and his minions have been working overtime since Meat-Puppet has been lounging about in The Swamp. I despise this human being and everything he stands for because it’s antithetical to everything this Country stood for over the first 232 years of our existence.

This is a video by a couple that I follow. Usually they are at sea on their sailboat, but right now they are in China waiting for their new boat to be finished. Here they are visiting Hunan Province, at a world heritage site. I think you might enjoy it.

Afternoon all. It was about -14* when I went to bed last night, and is now -6* and overcast. I had already made the decision not to go to church this morning, partly because the lady I ride with said she wasn’t going because of the weather. I usually drive to her house and ride with her the rest of the way. Well, I am glad I had made that decision. I would have had to shovel the snow around the car and get it ready. I can hardly stand to be outside because it is hard to breathe so I decided against it. It snowed again last night anyway. Oh, well.

    Stay warm.

Good afternoon, aus! If it weren’t such a horrible undertaking, I’d move from snow country. But to where? Blue states are verboten. Boise is still snowy but at least they are at 22 degrees today…however the city is run by lefties and they are a vicious lot…a red state has a capital run by the enemies of free speech and true American values, amazing!

I’d have a hard time with the shorter/longer day thing in the Panhandle, Lucille; it’s barely tolerable in eastern OR. Boise’s Treasure Valley is a smog trap much of the year! Arizona would be my vote (although it’s hard to beat summers where we live). 🙂

        Florida or Texas?

        Liked by 1 person

        • Lucille says:

No to Florida even though I have friends who live in Fort Lauderdale and Kissimmee, both of which get horrible storms. Yet they all stay there because it’s “so pretty”!

Fort Worth, Texas is run by Republicans and the weather is fairly even there. That’s a possibility; however, Dallas is full-on Dem, even if their black mayor recently left the Dem party. Between the drug cartels, Dems and illegals, Texas is iffy.

As for Arizona, Barry Goldwater is rolling over in his grave. Wyoming, way too expensive. New Mexico: Dem with a mentally-off governor, to boot.

LOL! I better stop before I get a thorough case of negative vibe.

I am not really complaining about the weather, just commenting on it. And, I have no intention of moving anywhere other than where my son and his family are. I loved Florida, but the heat just finally wore me out completely. I will, however, be happier when I can get settled closer to them.

Florida really IS beautiful when there aren’t big storms. My mother spent ten winters there with my cousins (Sarasota/Bradenton area), and I visited frequently. The big thing I notice isn’t so much the temperature, but the humidity, which feels really good in the winter months!
