        Good afternoon, Miz Wee! A nice Christmas present came my way. I’d ordered a silver band with gemstones from an online jewelry vendor I’ve dealt with in the past. The ring was lovely. However, I’d ordered one and two arrived. Dilemma.

        The law says if this happens you don’t have to return such an item if you don’t want to. It’s legally yours. So I wore one of them around for a few minutes and then decided I had to call the vendor anyway and ask what to do, knowing I could never wear the ring without a twinge of conscience. Well, turns out the inventory was depleted and the customer service gal told me to keep the extra. Now I can either give it as a gift or keep it and wear another band in between.

        Life and fun surprises…I’m always game!

        Yes, indeed. Some of the children who have been released only speak in whispers because their captors would point guns at them if they cried or spoke without permission.

        It’s now believed that a number of captives have been murdered while in custody. Whether this includes the babies and children, the reporter did not say. The atrocities have been beyond extreme.

    Housekeeping and present wrapping in line for today. Tomorrow I have to go to the eye doctor for another shot. It has been 3 months. Other than that there isn’t much news.

        True, true. Turkey is a mess. They’d become an ally of the West under their secular government until Erdogan’s rise to power. His desire is to re-establish the Ottoman Empire and so he’d love to have Israel’s land and the other Arab Middle East lands, also. Not going to happen, of course; but they will continue to try, no doubt.
