      Lucille if I lived where this last picture is, I’d pull up a lounge, grab a quilt and pillow, and tell my family not to talk to me until November sometime.

    Yeah, so, another day without rain, but at least it’s not 100*. Louisiana is now in extreme, no, say extraordinary drought conditions. But, we haven’t had a hurricane in 2 years.

    Those two punks in Vegas think the whole thing is still a game. I know there is no chance of a Murder 1 charge, but I do hope they get a max sentence, whatever that will be. They flipped off the victim’s family in court………scum

    Mornin’ All. It started snowing yesterday afternoon and snowed all night. It is 22* and still snowing. I took Loki out for her walk and she did her business right away and when we got to the intersection of the sidewalk, she started to turn right to take a walk, but changed her mind and came back to the door. LOL. I guess it is too cold for her. I hadn’t put her booties on, but I will next time.

    The lady I ride to church with was going to pick me up to go to Bible study, but a few minutes after she was supposed to be here she called and said she went back home. She has lived here all her life and so knows the snow, but she said it was coming down so hard she couldn’t see. So, we decided not to go. Besides, the snow is probably worse in the area where the church is. My snow tires are not on the car yet. I think it just became more urgent to get that done.

    Well, hope your weather is nice wherever you are.

    This guy was so dumb he just brought a hammer.

    For the robbery he had planned at a gunshop.

    His lack of preparation made him DOA.

    Hey guys. I have a bunch of green tomatoes that I will be harvesting today or tomorrow, and I’m thinking of making a sweet tomato pie or crisp, like you would do with apples. Since I’m on a low carb eating program, I will be using non-sugar sweetener and an almond flour crust or streusel of some kind.

    If anybody has favorite green tomato recipes, let me know!

      I confess to never having heard of what you’re doing. Sounds good…I think. As you know, down here we’re all about the fried green tomatoes, but I have no idea if that could be done low carb. Surely, I’d think.

      Fried green tomatoes with remoulade sauce. Yum! I’m not really big on fried foods except for tomatoes and okra. Occasionally chicken.

        I didn’t invent the sweet green tomato (faux apple) thing; it’s been around for decades. Just another way to use the end of season tomato crop from the garden. I’ve never had it, but I’m willing to try. I think it was in one of the Little House books too!

    Wonderful to know some Christian leaders keep the teachings of Holy Scripture in the forefront. May that mindset spread throughout the world….
