    A warning to those who maliciously bring fake charges against President Donald J. Trump. If in this life you should get away with charging an innocent man and ignoring the 9th of The 10 Commandments, then most assuredly you will not get away with this sin in the next….

    Mornin’ All. It was all the way back up to 61* when we got up this morning. Perfectly comfortable. And, clear blue skies. This place is amazing.

    I finally got an answer to an email yesterday and the apt. complex I am looking at has me at #15 on the wait list. It only took a little over a year to get there. 🙄 At least I know.

    Well, there are things to do and places to go. Hope you all have a nice day.

      Good afternoon, aus! Re being #15 on the apartment list, perhaps a majority of those registered will already have taken another apartment and you’ll be moved way up into a more reasonable spot.

      We’re going to hit 101 today. Aaggghhhhhh!

        Right now it is 87* in the shade but unbelievably hot in the sun this afternoon. But, I am not complaining. We had a few days respite from the heat and this won’t go on for too long, I understand. Besides, the humidity isn’t as bad as Florida. 😯

      Good day, Czarina! YES on the lemon meringue and YES on the leathercraft if it is a beautiful purse or pair of boots. WE ALL DEFINITELY COULD USE A TRUE NATIONAL RELAXATION DAY!

      VJ Day is celebrated by the United Kingdom and a few other nations today but do we? In a way, I guess, since that was when Emperor Hirohito gave his radio address of surrender. However, the U.S. arranged the official surrender aboard the battleship Missouri on September 2nd and that is our official VJ Day. The Missouri was decommissioned perhaps 50 years later and is now a museum at Pearl Harbor.

      I remember the Missouri part because our neighbor adopted an older marmalade cat on the day of decommissioning and named him Missouri. He was such a darling old boy with a scratchy meow; and when the neighbor went on vacation, either Mom or me would go over every day and take care of him.

    Y’all ain’t gonna believe this one. This is a legit link on Amazon and this book was “Written” on August 10, 2023. Two days after the fire started. Dr. Miles Stones. Milestones……….something smells fishy.

      Now I know there is something fishy. A guy from FOX has connections there and went there to report as fast as he could after the fire. He was told they didn’t want reporters in their burn area but he was able to get in because of his family connections. That is one reason there is hardly any coverage about it I think. Something is definitely fishy.
