The CDC doubles down on annual jabs for the corona. This after a number of stories have run in the last few days about the efficacy and use of Ivermectin and it’s quiet inclusion back on the table of meds that can be used now. I’m backing away from most vaccines that have been “re-formulated” in the last 10-15 years. But my health is not at risk or fragile at this point either. Definitely out on the corona though.

Mornin’ All. Same ol’, same ol’ sunny day today. No, I am not getting tired of it. I actually love the weather here in the summer. Or, should I say the spring, summer, and fall? Last winter was pretty extreme according to people who have been here for years. But, I am ready for the winter this year.
As usual nowadays, there is something fishy about the whole fire thing in Hawaii. The alarm didn’t go off and now they are stopping help from going into the burnt areas. People are taking supplies in on boats and things to get around the barriers. Evidently the hospital ship that is there hasn’t showed up yet and there is no news about the military helping. I don’t know if it is just a lack of information getting out or something else. But, with what is going on all over the country now, I wonder.

ADD: Britain may have “won” the war, but it was broke, broken and never the same country again.

The pie-in-the-sky libs, and more than a few uniparty folks in TX want to emulate the Golden State with their super-duper rail project. Ours would go from HOU to DAL, and I presume back to HOU. Here’s one big bright blinking beacon from the article –
“The initial cost estimate of $12 billion a decade ago has risen to more than $40 billion now. A 2018 estimate was revenue service available by 2023. No estimate is made now.”
I read about some projections made a few years ago and it basically said that 115% of all air travelers between the two cities would have to migrate to the rail project…….just to break even. As an aside, the HOU city bus program still doesn’t break even………50 + years after they started it. I’m out.
