      This happens when we move the refrigerator or freezer. They are always sorry when litte toys & milk bottle lids disappear, and seem pleased when the stash shows up.

        PS if you haven’t dropped a milk bottle lid for your cats, try it. They skitter wonderfully and make a nice noise.

          When I was young we had a cat who liked to play with marbles. He would smack it so hard it made a loud thump and dents in the baseboards. Luckily my father didn’t seem to be too concerned about it.

          We had a little deaf manx tortie [could hear loud noises like a whistle] who loved to play with a tiny turban sea shell in the bathtub. She was lightning fast wih that thing.
