There’s a soft spot in my heart for the Lab breed! Smart dogs and very patient around the young! K-9s and I generally get along well!

Czar had a friend in West Palm Beach who had 3-6 Dobes, both rescued and bred, and never locked the doors. She did have a warning sign on the doors tho.

Dobies aren’t my favorite. When I was four years old, my father and I were on our country road walking back from the grocery store. I’d just learned how to skip and was skipping along the pavement (there were no sidewalks) slightly ahead of Dad. Racing out of a neighbor’s yard was their Doberman headed straight for me. My dad kicked the lungs out of that dog. It raced squealing back into the neighbor’s yard and we never saw it again. Never forgot that.

Mornin’ All. It was about 55* when we got up this morning, a little chilly. But, the sky is clear blue and it is very sunny. I was wrong about yesterday. I thought it was going to be really hot. It was in the sun, but cooled off very quickly.
Today is pretty much the same as yesterday, except that I am going over to have dinner with my family. Loki is looking forward to that.

Hannah looks like half her old self since grooming yesterday. I really need to brush her regularly, but she does not like it. Treats might help.

Loki doesn’t like it either. I think it is because the brush pulls the hair because it tangles at the ends. I really need to find a good groomer to trim her.

I trimmed a lot of Tucker’s extra hair the other day and brushed him well. He doesn’t mind the brushing, but doesn’t like the scissors or clippers. He shakes when I use the clippers on him, and fights me, so the trim job isn’t exactly the neatest. Better though.
