The Left, both international and domestic, has always been about power over thoughts and thus words. Freedom of speech is to be squelched at all costs. Put enough lefties in public office and they will be relentless in their pursuit of control over every aspect of life. Seeing that people are accepting the restrictions on speech brings them more joy than most anything else in their lives.

Btw, Philip K. Dick wrote the novel on which BLADE RUNNER starring Harrison Ford and Rutger Hauer is based. I’m not sure how much of his dialogue was retained, but he certainly was a wordsmith.

      This is a beautiful scene….

I’ve seen this film probably 35-40 times. It’s so well done. After the initial release, the director, Ridley Scott, cut out all of Ford’s narration, which I think lessens the impact since Ford has such an attractively languid voice.
