In reality, all debts are paid! If someones asks to borrow $20 from me and I give it to them, then I just made sure that the debt was paid whether they pay me back or not! I don’t care to pay for someone else’s college! Let them be responsible for their decisions! THEY went to school, I didn’t force them! Sometimes, life’s tough!

It was an unAmerican, undemocratic, unConstitional, unethical, and immoral plan and I am glad of the decision.

So glad to hear it. If student loans need to be forgiven, then let the schools themselves chip in. Reducing their overhead for such studies as fake climate change or fake race theories would pay for a lot of loans to their students.
Another bit of good news from the Supreme Court…

May I say, these decisions are all good; but what are these cases doing all the way in the Supreme Court anyway? Ridiculous abuse/overuse of the federal justice system.

If the “President” had not made the decision he did on student loan forgiveness, it wouldn’t have been necessary to take him to the Supreme Court. And this is a good thing, because it sets a precedent for future out of control Executives.
Ditto for the Affirmative Action decision.

Add: SCOTUS accepted these particular cases. If they didn’t believe they were important, they would have sent them back to a lower court.

Re the loan debt, Chief Justice Roberts quoted Nancy Pelosi….“People think that the President of the United States has the power for debt forgiveness. He does not. He can postpone. He can delay. But he does not have that power. That has to be an act of Congress,” she said. – July 2021
This is what she said today….“Wrongly, the Majority Opinion in this case ignores the convincing arguments on the President’s legal authority that were made in the last year by the Department of Education and by former House Education Committee Chairman George Miller.”

The left is always complaining that President Trump never apologizes. Notice that Nance can change her mind and never apologize. Plus I haven’t heard her or any other Dem make an apology to President Trump for the hoaxes they have perpetrated against him.
