“Power tends to corrupt and absolute power corrupts absolutely. Great men are almost always bad men, even when they exercise influence and not authority: still more when you superadd the tendency or the certainty of corruption by authority. There is no worse heresy than that the office sanctifies the holder of it.”

Good mornin, kids! Out Favorite Sunday Columnist is back from her vacation and lays out some issues regarding this Kangaroo Court shenanigans and efforts against President Trump. She was a practicing barrister for many years and can see some of the things that many of us do not. This is another page out of the Scooter Libby and Sen. Ted Stevens playbook. Clarice provides a bit more context than what you might be getting from Chuck U Todd, or George Puffilupigus. We shall see if Mr. Trump plays hardball.

Staff need protection. I liked the stores where the buyer submits the list of items to be purchased, the clerk obtains them and prepares from behind bulletproof glass, the buyer pays, then receives the merchandise. With the exception of the glass, we will have returned to retail from before Piggly Wiggly introduced the buggy and self-shopping! Walmart, et al have already sort of moved there with online shopping then pick up at the store, or delivery to your home.

Wow, I must be missing out on things. My meager retirement lets me invest in mostly silver and occasional gold. Don’t trust this administration with money. I save enough every year to do some Steelhead fishing for a week or two in Lake Erie. Outside that it’s living and eating expenses. I must lead a dull life,LOL! I boxed my boob tube back around 2014, so no TV bills to pay! Only internet. Trying to learn my DSLR camera, but it has so many bells and whistles I get lost easily. Oh the days of film and filters was so much more user friendlier.

There sure are lot of self-indulgent little sh*ts in the workforce these days. But the tone of the author set me off in the first paragraph. Tell your grandkids that with a little bit of respect and hard work, they can take over the world in about 30 years because all of their peers are going to be drinking some overpriced “properly sourced” coffee and playing video games.

Afternoon all. It is pretty warm here today, 80* and must be humid.

I did something today that I wouldn’t normally do. I took my dirty clothes to the laundromat yesterday and there was a note on the door saying it was closed until the Internet was back up. So this morning after church, I decided to go ahead and put the clothes in a washer, which I did. When I went back after they were dried there were some Hispanics hanging around and using the laundromat. They had a little dog with them inside, which they weren’t supposed to do. I said something to the attendant and she said she had already told them 3 times the dog had to go. Well, I couldn’t resist saying “if you can break the law you think it is ok for you to break the law”. I have to keep my mouth shut. But, it makes me angry. And, I don’t believe for a minute that they didn’ t understand her.

Seems the attendant was afraid to deal with them. Yep, they can break the rules so long as they hold the power. Like everyone in Politics…
