…and eventually forms the border between Oregon and Washington over to the Pacific Ocean. In North America “The Mighty Columbia” is the next largest river in volume after the Mississippi and is four times the volume of the Colorado River. It’s also the world’s largest source of hydroelectric power.
When living in Vancouver, WA (which is across the river from Portland, OR) I loved taking the route from our hillside forested area into downtown. Never got tired of seeing that first glimpse of the Columbia as we crested the hill.

Before we found out that Jaime Herrera Beutler was a RINO with Trump Derangement Syndrome and a political pal of Lying Liz, I thought she was a good representative when I lived in Vancouver. But anyone who believes Lizzie and her Daddy, who seem just fine with aiding the Dem leftists, needs to be thrown out of office. And McCarthy, too, who leaps from being occasionally verbally supportive of the Trump agenda but in actions turns against Trump and us Deplorables.

Just put a sheet pan dinner in the oven – mild Italian sausage (brown first), red and green bell pepper, yukon gold potatoes, sliced sweet onion and sliced mushrooms. Tossed with olive oil, herbs de provence, salt and pepper. Sure smells good!

Evening everyone. Loki let me sleep in until 9:00 this morning. And, after our walk and breakfast, my friend called and we talked a long time. At some point my Internet went out again like it did last weekend and I couldn’t get it back until very late in the afternoon. Got my first electric bill. It was $69, which included the $30 hookup charge. I can’t believe that,. Of course, I don’t have an air conditioner running full blast 24 hrs a day either. I will probably be using the heater a lot more in the winter and the bill will be much higher. We’ll see. Anyway, hope you all had a great day. I unpacked another 6 boxes and put them in the bins.
