General Motors spokesperson Kristin Zimmerman has let the cat out of the bag by admitting that their new “electric” car – the Volt – is charged by a power plant that runs on coal, so basically, their new car at the moment would actually run on about 95 percent coal. The power source – at least in Michigan – is mostly coal, and the rest is natural gas. Watch:


The way to an EV is through killing the fossil fuels. Eighty five to ninety per cent want little to do with EVs. If I want to travel, I sure as hell don’t want to wait the 4 hours to recharge! EVs are not what we the John Q Public wants. The harder you idiots push it, the more resistance you’ll find!

I don’t see anything indicating the progressives are listening. They will just shove the prices of everything up by reducing access to fossil fuels, without any comprehension of the effect on real people.
