   This is kinda sorta off topic – was listening to Barnes & Frei commenting on the Depp-Heard verdict, and Frei mentioned he was again in Florida with his middle child this time. Apparently Frei is planning on a move to Florida and becoming an American citizen (!), and has been scoping out Florida communities to which to move.

   How cool is this? Of all people, David Freiheit has seen the seediest parts of the American justice system, especially through his association with Robert Barnes and the cases they discuss, and David wants to be an American! Barnes seems equally as pleased; David has grown from being mentored to being more of a colleague.

   This sidebar was as usual a fascinating interview. Dinesh was the one who finally said it was time to cut it off; everyone was having such a good time with the subject and discussion. David Freiheit moving to the U.S. just made it all the better.

     This was brought up in an interview a few days ago, and David denied that he was planning to move to the USA.

       Huh. Interesting. Think the one to which I was listening was last Fri night. Will have to re-listen and see what I mis-heard.
