Mornin’ All. 80*, sunny, and VERY humid here. I think we are supposed to have a lot of rain today. That would be nice since we need more rain. I hope it doesn’t mess up anybody’s plans. Here we usually just wait until it passes over and go back to what we were doing. Last night, I started to take Loki for her evening walk and I opened the door and it was pouring. She didn’t even want to go out. So, we waited until it quit and then went. Hope you enjoy your day.

Coffee up, y’all. Resting up today, as I’ll be racing all day tomorrow. Morning in Monaco, mid-day in the Midwest, and night-time in North Carolina.

Thanks for the pick me up. Monaco as in Europe?

I used to love Memorial Day Car races, but haven’t watched in years. When I was in college we went to the local stock car races in Zephyrhills, FL. It was a hoot! There were a few of us hippie college kids, and lots of local blue collar workers. The women came freshly fluffed and buffed, and the men showered, shaved and in clean jeans and plaid shirts. An evening of sprint cars, jalopies, midget racers, and finally the demolition derby. A fine time was had by all!

I can’t be at my grandson’s high school graduation today (because of sick Tucker), but I will be able to watch it live on YouTube. I am so grateful for that!
Btw, Tucker is much better – more active, eating well, no vomiting! Still on meds, though.
Good morning everybody!

Watching my grandson’s high school commencement. Glad to see them recognize those students who are going on to serve in the military. No so glad to listen to a speech that honors George Floyd, criticizes the new Supreme Court justices, and decries the “insurrection” of Jan. 6. Hope the rest goes better.

There are 3,400 total students in the high school. Big contrast to last week’s college graduation; there are only 900 undergraduates at that college!
