    Mornin’ All. Weather hot and humid, and sunny. Lots of packing left to do so that is what I will be doing today. It is too hot to be out in the middle of the day now. We waited until about 7:30 last evening to take our late walk. It was pretty nice then, especially in the spots where there is a slight breeze. I am surprised we have any breeze at all now. Hope you all have good weather.

    Tucker is staying a few hours at the vet for blood work and x-rays. His temp is normal, but he has lost 4 lbs and is dehydrated. Probably nothing serious, but we are covering all the bases.

      Tucker is home. He got fluids and a shot for nausea. His blood work was all good, but they didn’t do an x-ray. He wouldn’t be still for it, and the doctor didn’t want to sedate him today. If he doesn’t improve, then he may have to have an x-ray to check for obstructions, although his abdomen is soft, he is peeing and pooping, drinking water, and even ate a bit of food at the vet.

      The doctor prescribed an antibiotic and a probiotic, and he is also taking fomotadine for stomach acid.

      For sure he won’t be going to the kennel this weekend, so I will either stay home or take him with me, depending on how he is doing.
