Why do I get the feeling that I’ll be eating something new soon?

I love his presentations. And he is easy on the eyes! BTW, nasturtiums taste radish-y , very pleasant.

Radish is one of my fave roots. The hotter, the better! Was never much on eating flowers, really appreciated the blooms though! Maybe I’ll give those a try!

Pa, my mother liked to make radish sandwiches: bread, butter and sliced radish with a bit of salt.

I love nasturtiums, and have grown them many years. A restaurant I used to visit had a big wooden tub planter of mixed color nasturtiums right next to their front door. Beautiful.

Thanks, Stella – what an uplifting start to the day and week!
We use seasoned rice vinegar in our vinaigrette dressing but recently could not find any at the store. Easily replicated using regular rice vinegar plus a little brown sugar and pinch of salt!
Happy May Day everyone!!
