I am reading the most amazing book this week. What Christ Suffered, A Doctor’s Journey Through the Passion by Thomas W. McGovern.

His descriptions and explanations are so well presented that one doesn’t need medical training to understand them, but I enjoy it all the more for having that training. This book is dramatically deepening my understanding of Christ’s suffering, and this is such a profound week in which to be reading it. I highly recommend it. Mornin’ All. 60* and sunny here. Not a cloud in the sky. I have to go get my taxes cone this morning. I hope I don’t have to pay. They have enough of my money now. My friend used Turbotax and it said she owed about $500. So, she got a human being to help and found something she had overlooked. Instead of paying she got back all that plus more. Problem is, she had to pay for the help and she ended up getting back about $100. All the rest went to the help. I hate taxes, especially since they just throw the money away in other countries and squander it.
Well, have a nice day anyway.
