The left have known they are pushing for this for decades. They needed to start all the infrastructure to support it, 15 yrs or more ago to be able to shove it into being now.
If it were more efficient and less expensive, we would already be in EV’s en masse.
But no no….they only want to MAKE MONEY off it…..so never mid spending to build support for it, they can’t launder as much from taxpayers that way. They and their pals want to be at the forefront of all the new money spinning created by forcing the issue NOW….and that includes all the “subsidizing” that will be thrown out as carrots to jump for. The average middle class or lower cannot afford it, or the trappings needed to keep it going – so effectively the ONLY ones who benefit from the gov’t subsidies…once again…..will be the wealthy who can jump and spend now….not thoe who truly NEED the subsidy to make the jump. Laundering from the poor to the wealthy again.
