I put a final Iditarod Update on yesterday’s General Discussion, but it was so late I doubt anybody saw it. Anyway, the race is over, and an exciting one it was. I am glad we have a new first-time champion. He ran a great race and deserves the honor. Congrats Brent Sass!

Mornin’ All. It was a little chilly here this morning………..FL chilly, not up north chilly. Nice out in the sun. I will be so glad when they get the work done on this air conditioner. At least it is working, especially now that it has warmed up so much. I’m just dreading the sheetrock work that has to be done. That makes such a mess, even as hard as they try to keep the dust under control.
I was so disappointed in Sanditon last night. The guy playing Sidney was too hard to replace. He is so startlingly handsome and comes across so masculine and strong. Big shoes to fill. Of course, they didn’t expect to have a Season 2. I read that they fought over it a lot before deciding to do it.

I had the radio in the car turned to a talk radio station yesterday. They were discussing the SC nominee and it was all of their opinions that people were only against her because she is female and black, mostly black. They said she had an exemplary record. Of course, nobody mentioned that she was letting pedophiles off easy.
