    “Pirates Haul” by Humbert Arcamonte (1883-1967) Doesn’t have anything to do with Fraser Island. The painting just seemed to fit in with the island theme…

    The top pic is a banyan tree. Often seen in South Florida, where I grew up. We had a neighbor who told a story of traveling on foot through Southeast Asia and having to traverse the edge of ONE tree FOR DAYS. They are magnificent, but will eagerly get into the sewer system, and unfortunately were planted in the yards of many houses, only to cause a lot of trouble later.

    Mornin’ All. Feels cool here. It is alllllll the way down to 74* this morning and it is only the middle of Sept. Bad news. The Newsome recall didn’t work. I am sure it was voter fraud. That doesn’t bode well for the next election. I think I will take a nap. Have a nice day.

      I love it . He stated his demands, supported by a judge, and walked away to the cheers of parents.
