Overall, well done. The only point upon which I differ with Ayaan Hirsi Ali is jihadis are following “a militant strain of an ancient religion.”
True Islam teaches exactly what the jihadis are doing. Jihadis attempt to follow literally every action and evil trait that Muhammad exhibited since he is their “perfect man”, and to follow his words exactly. Of course, they do not consider their literalism as evil.
Love of their fellow man is an alien and unwanted characteristic which is worthy, in their eyes, of death. Thank goodness a larger percentage of Muslims are not fundamentalists who insist on complete obedience.
