Mornin’ everyone. Weather hot and humid. It was already 80* and climbing when we took our. walk at 8:00. I can’t wait until winter. 🙄 It takes about an hour to cool down from our walk.

Good morning, aus! We’re at 79 degrees at present, heading to 95. Hopefully with this hot summer that will also mean a warmer winter. I’d love it if the snow didn’t pack to three feet this year.

Mornin’ all! I sure wish I could trade all of you some of our cold for some of your heat. So far we are having a damp and chilly summer. Two weeks ago we had about a week of sunshine and temps in the mid 60s, but the air never warmed up enough for short sleeves to be comfortable. It was great if you could get out of the wind, but too cold for bare skin otherwise. The past week has been endless rain and temps in the low 50s. Yuck. C’mon summer! Today the sun is shining (finally!) but a ring of clouds on the horizon obscures the mountains completely. Ah well, at least there is sun. My cousin from Alabama is visiting and really glad to be missing that 100 degree hot box she is going home to in a few days. I’m just hoping our one week of relative warmth doesn’t end up constituting the entirety of our summer this year. Surely there is hope for August, right?

Really? Kind of like my sister, except she didn’t pick rich men. I have a good friend who has been married four times and had several other serious relationships. All of her husbands and most of her old beaus are dead now.
