Mornin’ Lucille and every body else who shows up later. :). It was already 80* at 7:30 this morning and the humidity is almost unbearable. There was a family already in the pool. Come to think of it, this would be a perfect time to swim. Prayers for those in front of the storm. I hope the damage and flooding isn’t too bad.

Practically no rain or wind, drippy skies changed to sunny, but now back to grey. My big problem is the trash pump we use to drain the septic tank when the hose screen gets clogged. I started it this morning, but it has a crack in the water reservoir, and won’t suck. So I have to go to Tractor Supply and buy another one. They cost about $100 and last for 2-3 years I think. Then I have to wrestle the fittings off the old one and place onto the new one.
Who knew a speech therapist needed to know this? Fortunately, I watched Czar do it a couple of times. Next I’ll need to pull the hose out of the tank and clean or replace the screen. Yucky.

Good morning, aus! Sun is shining and 65 degrees at the moment, heading to 83. Ima stayin’ inside today anyway except for taking out the trash and getting the mail as the sun goes down. No rain at all on the horizon. Next Saturday it’s supposed to be 95. I was hoping not to require air conditioning yet, but on Saturday it looks like a must.

If I ever travel to Australia, I shall touch nothing which looks like a tree branch. Actually, probably won’t get there at all, since they are still on lockdown. According to a friend, her son lives in Perth, Western Australia, and she has not been able to visit him and the grandchildren for over a year.

I follow a sailing family who is in Western Australia right now. They got in just as Australia was clamping down again and spent, I think, 21 days in quarantine. They were traveling from Fiji.
