Mornin’ All. Sunny and hot here……….still. It is really pleasant, though. Last evening, I decided I had to clean up my patio, and trim the palm tree and bushes. Bless her, a lady I know came by and took my clippers away and started trimming. She had palm trees in her yard over the years and knew how to trim them correctly. I learned a few things. Now I will call the office and have some guys come over and pick up all the trimmings. The spikes on the palm fronds are vicious and they can put them on a trailer and take them off instead of me putting them in bags.

Loki did NOT like me being out back and her being inside. She finally started making a huge scene scratching at the sliding glass door. It was sort of weird. She didn’t settle down until I came back in.

Hope everyone has a great day. 🙂

I had a Siamese cat back in the 80’s. She would attack any dog that dared to come past our house. She would actually stand in the yard and watch for them and chase them away. She once rode a German Shepard like a Canine Mustang for a few houses down the street. We called her “Mao”, but her name was “Mousey Tongue”. I miss that sweet cat.

Siamese cats are really different. I had a Siamese mix once who loved to go for car rides.

Very. Our Siamese, Sam (when I was a kid) loved to ride in the car and was great on road trips. We could pull into an A&P, Dad would order Sam a raw hamburger patty and cup of water, and he’d eat his outside while we ate our lunch. Then he’d run pee, hop back in the car, and we’d continue on the road. He also loved baths – had to shut the bathroom door if you didn’t want him to join you. He hated the GSD next door and would drop like a bat onto his back from our cinderblock fence in Albuquerque and ride him like a jockey. He also hated and would await the garbagemen (who were terrified of him.) We never knew how HE knew when garbage day was but he always did.
His favorite food was a stuffed green olive after he’d rolled it through the whole house and got it good and filthy. Loved him dearly, I did.

My Siamese loved sweets. She once stole an Oreo, pried it open and ate the cream inside. She also took a wrapped pound cake and dragged it under my daughter’s bed and ate part of it. That one didn’t love water, but I had another cat who did. He would sleep in the sink, and run to the basement when the washing machine started.

My Siamese had the most personality of any cats. The Major Mao (real name Mao Tse Tung) and The Mini Mao (Mao Tse Tung the second). They rode on the shelf in the back window of my car. The Major liked pizza. The Mini liked white wine.

Where Have All the Whistleblowers Gone?
Is it now too dangerous to call out the federal government for anything?

“…the greatest whistleblower of them all is Donald J. Trump. His successful presidency revealed a corrupt deep state deployed against the people and adverse to investigating itself.”
