In a rational and normal world, I would say yes, “He Should Be Given A New Trial”. In my opinion, the judge should have declared a mistrial the morning after Maxine was flapping her lips. I would say others said enough for a mistrial. Then there are the juror’s comments about being basically a member oft eh George Floyd Fan Club. Too many people are members of the Saint Floyd of Fentanyl Society.
Put together, I doubt he can get a fair trial, maybe a Federal Civil Rights Violation at the most. credit for time served.

Quite prescient. The other four LEOs have been hit with Fed Civil Rights charges this morning (Fri 7 May 2021). Can Chauvin be far behind?

Believe it or not, Nate the Lawyer had a better analysis of this than Viva Frei’s, which is rarely achieved.
There is no place in the world where Chauvin will find an unbiased jury, imo, plus Chauvin has his own legal problems for taxes and other stuff. But good on Chauvin’s attorney for trying anyway.
