    OK, So on Doggity day I saw the first jonquils and forsythia and posted doggies in tulips 🙂 . Well yesterday it snowed all day, wet, heavy 31 degree temperature snow. And to top it off DH had to drive me to the hospital for a test on the highway (No fun. I’m OK on the highway in snow OR rain, but I hate driving in wet snow/slush. It’s too slippery). The lawn had just dried out to stop the lawn fungus from growing*, but now that it is warm and snowed, it’s going to grow back and so will my allergy to it! I like living in the cold. I’m fine with DRY heat. I hate these in between temperatures when it’s humid. They physically make me sick.

    So here is a Caturday pick appropriate to the weather outside today:

    * “snow mold” is actually a fungus that grows in lawns wherever it snows. How much it grows depends on the health of the lawn and the temperature of the ground when covered by snow. The more warm the earth (like this week), the more fungus grows under the snow. When the snow melts, it feeds the fungus, and until it dries out, the fungus will continue to grow causing those who are allergic to it to have allergy symptoms, usually in the spring.
