    The thing that scares me is that I believe the Dems know all this and are doing it all on purpose. They want to make a Vensuela out of us.

        A conservative philosopher on one of my discussion boards, now defunct.
        “Jimmy Carter proved the US can survive a bad president.
        0bama proved that Jimmy Carter was not that bad”.

        I wish the site still existed because I would like to know what he says about Biden.

      Leftists are fond of quoting Santayana “Those who don’t learn the lessons of the past are condemned to repeat the mistakes”. Then they take it out of context.

      I say they learned the lessons of the past and carefully replicated the mistakes. It is no accident that we went from the world’s largest creditor nation in 1960 to the world’s largest debtor nation by 2000.

      Rome, the Republic, and Western Empire collapsed because of 1). Deb, 2). Corruption, 3). loss of traditional values, 4). Inability to control their borders, We do not have the will to control ours.
      Does anything look familiar?
