      The first and third photos document the beauty that is enjoyed by those who live in subzero country. I’m glad I don’t live there any more but I also remember that we dressed for the weather–everyone did. So it was not a constant matter of miserable freezing. Not at all.

      There is spectacular beauty at ten below zero, no wind, bright sunshine.

      As I said, I’m glad I don’t live there any more. High 40s and chill rain in Oregon on most days right now….(and if I’m not dressed for it, that’s just as miserable as not being dressed for subzero)……every region has its beauties and its issues.

    Doctor Jill Biden? Oh, come on.

    It’s hard to imagine a better example of the feckless arrogance of our stupid Establishment than this silly woman demanding that we all hail her as “Doctor” because she got some lame education degree. She is technically a doctor, of a sort, and if you wish to call her “doctor,” you go right ahead. But don’t demand it of the rest of us, because it’s a joke.

    I’m a kind of doctor. And a colonel. And I was some form of professor for a couple of months, and now it’s time to cash in. I demand you call me all these things all the time, plus add an “Esquire” to the end. Please say my full name when you do, just to pump up the presumption a bit more.

    Professor Colonel Dr. Kurt A. Schlichter, BA, MS, JD, LOL, Esq.

    Just kidding.

    Call me “Kurt.” Because that’s my name….

      Mornin’ Lucille, everybody. People must be sleeping in today. I don’t blame you with all that cold weather, snow and stuff.

      My little trip to the seminar went fine last nighty. The man doing the talk was really nice and it was a fun group that was there. It is a fancy expensive restaurant, but they had a big BIG party downstairs and so our dinner was delayed. The man running it had ordered the appetizers, salads to be brought when he started talking. And, the main course was to be brought at 7:00, about the time he finished. Most of us didn’t get it until between 8:00 land 8:30. My friend and I had it put in a doggie bag and brought it home. Anyway, we always get fed and actually learn something when we go to these.

        Good morning, aus! Glad the seminar went well and the food eventually got consumed. Actually, the restaurant business depends upon return customers. Messing up the timing of service simply is not a good business plan…LOL!

        I’d love to sleep in, but once I’m awake and hearing outside noise, there’s no way to fall back and snooze. Since it apparently rained overnight, most of the snow is gone…just a couple of patches on the grass. It’s not supposed to rain or snow the rest of today and we’re at 39 degrees.

        Re people not visiting Stella’s yet today, has anyone heard from Lovely? I remember that she was having a health issue. Hope she’s OK.

      Kurt is a Doctor and indicated in those initials, “JD” Doctor of Jurisprudence. Yet, it is not appropriate for him to use that term, outside of an educational setting, Not really wrong, but inappropriate. The same goes for Jill Biden and anyone else who is not a Medical Doctor. And it is something I would no do.

      My first guess is that the media wants to take our focus off travesty we called an election. Not only is that wrong, it is Criminal.

    Note: Few people are aware that Article II, Section 1, Clause 3 of the US Constitution *and* the 12th amendment give Mike Pence, as the President of the Senate, an unquestionable and pivotal role as the sole authority who counts the votes of the Electoral College.

    It reads:
    “The President of the Senate shall, in the Presence of the Senate and House of Representatives, open all the Certificates, and the Votes shall then be counted.”

    This means that no person, representative, senator, or judge may question the result of his count. The Senate and House of Representatives are there as passive witnesses.

    One of the key election metrics being buried by FakeNews is the Trump v Biden contest at county level. There’s a good reason for that – the numbers are DAMNING.

    Reminder – there are 3,141 counties across the United States. Trump won ‘at least’ 2,500 counties (has anyone got the updated figure @timr ?) or ~80%, to China Joe’s miserable ~600.

    And that’s with rampant election fraud in play. Trump’s real victory margin was probably much higher.

      Countries interfere in other countries’ elections, we have interfered in other countries elections.
      The real question is whether our candidates cooperated & conspired with them. I would say that until 2016 and now in 2020 our candidates cooperated and conspired with them. Trump was not part of it in either election.
