    Does anyone else here wonder how Dr.’s can get by with the extreme discount Medicare takes off their bills? When I review my supplementsl plan’s summary, I always feel a pang of sadness on the doctors’ behalf. How do they recover even part of it? I know, running patients through like a mill…but many who I see actually take time with me.

    I checked with my chiropractor when I noticed they were paying him only $1.68 for my adjustments. I had to change insurance and now he at least gets more. But, I need him more than I need my regular doctor.

      But yours must not be Medicare coverage, correct? I believe the amounts they discount are the same regardless of our supplemental coverage. My supplemental (not cheap) pays the balance after Medicare payment, but it’s the Medicae rate cut that is so drastic.
