That’s what I call ingenuity. Too bad that she had to go to those lengths.
Cute! Have you ever had a ferret as a pet?

How do you torture a Scotsman?
You nail his feet to the floor and play Andy Stewart!

Where we lived, in the summertime the sun would set about nine o’clock. but it didn’t get dark till midnight. Then the sun would pop up again at three in the morning!
In the winter, the sun would set at four in the afternoon, and rise again about nine in the morning!
It sure took some getting used to.
One of the sayings I loved was when autumn was full blast, the folk would say ” The nights are closing in.”
The only thing that really bothered me was the seagulls screeching at three a.m. in the summer.

This time of year here it doesn’t get dark until about 9:30 pm and starts to lighten up at about 5:00 am.

I always thought gloming was a plant or place, like the heath! Yes, Live Aid was the best concert EVER!!! I had a friend who had a couple of ferrets: they smell musky, and if they are loose in the house they burrow into the upholsteered furniture. Cute but rather inconvenient.
