I found out a while back that our Daisy is an Aussie and not a border collie. Not much difference though, they’re both dangerously smart and as loving a gog as you can ever find.

We owned a blue merle a while back. That is what those Aussies are, as far as i can tell. Gosh, she was the best dog. She became Wicked Son’s dog from the very first day. Not a speck of red on her anywhere – very unique. She had 8 (8!) mixed puppies. Was up all night catching puppies. Had to put all 8 down – with 4 large dogs and 4 cats, could never afford 8 more.
The evil ex took her to the vet one day to have a tumor removed – he never even told me (i paid ALL the bills). She threw a clot and died instantly. Never even got to say goodbye. Hope this pic shows correctly.
